New York New York
Ok so here I am in the big apple, after a long day of travelling I have finally arrived in Queens, NY. The first glimpse of New York was so exciting and spotting the Statue of Liberty made it all seem a little more real. It still feels like a strange dream that I am actually here.
Saturday
Still feeling a little jet lagged and woke this morning at 4:20 am and then again at 7:30 am. I am feeling very nervous and apprehensive of what is to come in the next ten weeks but I am really looking forward to interning over this time and I am sure the apprehensive feeling will subside with time. I do feel a little homesick but better than I thought I would, it is a little scary that I don't know anyone in this whole city. I plan to explore Queens today and get my bearings in the light and hopefully this will improve on how I am feeling.
