Get Dressed With Levi's

Levi's Fashion Week presentations are renowned for a spectacular show and this year did not disappoint! A vast display of installations in a beautiful gallery in soho. Depicting what Levi's is really about, there were classic jeans frozen in blocks of ice to illustrate the use of water in garment production and an interactive installation of paintball guns in a acrylic box.

My absolute favourite was an installation depicting the feminine side of Levis including a fan positioned in front of a TV with a film of a girl stood with her dress blowing in the wind.

The show was just as entertaining and elaborate. The runway was set out as a home with clothes drapped over cupboards and shelves and even a bathtub. The models appeared from wardrobes and doors in the back of the runway and got dressed in front of the audience. I love this playful style of presentation, it really makes it more interesting.
There was a real mix of clothes on the runway from skin tight high-waisted jeans and low rise baggy pants. Long wide skirts and SHORT hight waisted shorts in shiny blacks and greys. The denim was dark and in contrast to the crisp white shirts and bold mustard hats. The male looks were smart with cropped shorts and button down shirts. With puffed out jackets and flashes of khaki, browns and greens.

There is a new sense of playfulness to fashion this season and I love the sixties flare coming back. Look out for SHORT shorts and high-waisted bottoms and cropped tops. Draw inspiration from the sixties and get that beach body ready for summer.
